About Casby Harrison

Casby Harrison has been engaged in the full-time practice of law, specializing in persuading judges and juries, for over 25 years. He began his career in 1984 as a litigation associate at the 32-lawyer firm known as Levy, Goodman, Semonoff & Gorin. That firm later merged to become Tillinghast, Licht & Semonoff. During his 15 years as a law firm litigator, Mr. Harrison also served as Deputy Legal Counsel to Governor Bruce Sundlun for two years from 1990 to 1992 as a partner in the firm from 1994 to 1999. In September of 1999, Mr. Harrison opened Harrison Law Associates.

Harrison Law Associates represents victims of broken marriages and other Family Court disputes; victims of broken contracts caused by the unscrupulous; victims of tragic accidents caused by the negligence of others; victims of discrimination, wrongful termination and bullying in the workplace; landlord tenant disputes; and those who have been erroneously accused of criminal conduct.

Mr. Harrison does not handle legal matters involving immigration, workers' compensation, real estate closings, bankruptcy, estate planning, tax law, lobbying, or corporate transactions. Rather, he specializes in handling disputes that involve proving and convincing finders of fact in a courtroom that the facts and the law support a positive outcome because the opposing party's position is at best legally or factually incorrect, or at worst not truthful.

Mr. Harrison charges $250 per hour. There are many attorneys in Rhode Island with 25 years of experience who charge over $350 an hour. Mr. Harrison's hourly rate is very reasonable.
